The Department of Environment and Mineral Resources and Aarhus University have been tasked with producing maps and reports on specific regions. The reports contain an overview of important biological areas, vegetation, existing geochemical conditions and older contaminants, and several other information. The reports and the associated maps can be used as a basis for the detailed studies and reports that the mineral companies must carry out before a possible mine can be started.
