Shellfish

Below is a brief overview of the annual international biological advice on the most important population of shell fish around Greenland.

This advice is described in ACFM (Advisory Committee for Fisheries Management) under ICES (International Council for Exploration of the Sea) and the Scientific Council under NAFO (Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization).

The advice is a result of the activities of the scientific work groups under ICES and NAFO where the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources / Pinngortitaleriffik is represented and where Greenlandic and international investigations in Greenlandic waters are presented and assessed.
