Three new reports about nature and environment in Greenland Published 19.06.2009

The interest in search for oil in Greenland is setadily growing. To new reports was prepared by the National Environmental Research Institute, Denmark and the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources in cooperation with the Greenland Bureau of Minerals and Petroleum. They describe the present knowlegge about nature and environment in Baffin Bay and Greenland Seaand they asseess the possible impact of hydrocarbonate activities.

Another technical report from NERI describes the results of two aerial conts of birds and sea mammals in North East Greenland i spring and summer 2008.
